About
UTS Catholic Chaplaincy
The Catholic chaplaincy at UTS
offers personal and spiritual support in the context of the university
community. There is Mass every Wednesday at 1pm at the UTS Multifaith
Centre Prayer Room 1, Level 3 tower, Broadway Campus. The chaplaincy is
part time, so activities are limited, but regular updates of current
activities can be viewed on this website.
You can contact the chaplain for help or a chat at any
time by phone or email. It is possible for the chaplain to meet with any
member of the university community by appointment either at the chaplain’s
office, or at another convenient location. Unfortunately we do not have
the resources to keep the office open for dropping in but please
do not hesitate to contact us anytime.
The Catholic chaplaincy is part of the UTS
Multi-faith Chaplaincy Service which hosts regular forums
on topics developing a conversation around values and action in the university
community.
The Catholic chaplaincy is supported by the Archdiocese
of Sydney and UTS Student
Services Unit which offers many forms of assistance to staff and students
including counselling, health, housing and other practical assistance
in academic as well as personal difficulties.
The Catholic chaplain is a member of the Tertiary Campus
Ministers Association of Australia - TCMA
